SunLocation is an app that lets you know the current sun location and altitude.
If there is a compass, the directions are synchronized.
You might want to watch the Super Moon, take a photo, move, go out or look at the sky.
If the position is different, the compass is interfering.
Please adjust the position with the compass app and try again.
The altitude is displayed in the center.
Add-on (Add moon position and phases and hide ads)
- The ad will be hidden.
- You can display the month position and age.
- Tap the center to switch between sun and moon altitudes at any time.
- You can see the altitude graph of the sun and the moon.
- You can see the distance graph of the moon.

I was reading about what time of day is the safest, most effective sun exposure to acquire much needed Vitamin D... And discovered I had to go to a website by the Astonomical Applications Department to find the altitude of the sun and was told that anything over 50 degrees meant optimum UVB exposure. While the website is great for letting me know WHEN on any given day this will be... this app is great for letting me know where it is NOW.
This app is terrible. I bought it to be able to tell my son where the moon is... its made me a liar every time. Waste of money. I want my sons trust back... or at least my $0.99.
I love the app, very minimalistic, but it doesnt even point north more EEN than anything. Plz fix as I use it to find the sunrise for timelapses.
Start this app and you are presented with full-screen ads, not just once but every time you start the thing. What a joke. I am not a fan of ads... even tiny ones. Throw a full-screen add on my screen and youre going to be uninstalled instantly!
